How to edit RAW photos online without uploading them

This workflow uses Kalar's local decoder and GPU pipeline. Rendering depends on the camera file, profile, browser graphics support, and output settings.

1. Preserve the original

Keep the original RAW file outside browser storage and work on an imported project copy. A non-destructive editor is not a backup.

2. Open and normalize

Wait for refined decoding, verify orientation and white balance, then set exposure before creative contrast.

  • Start from neutral exposure and curves
  • Check both image and scopes
  • Use the intended display transform

3. Build the look

Adjust tone and color first. Add grain, halation, bloom, or diffusion after the exposure and palette are stable.

4. Export deliberately

Free exports support JPG, WebP, and 8-bit PNG up to 2048px. Use Pro for full resolution, metadata, TIFF/16-bit PNG, batch, LUT, or XMP delivery.
