Supported RAW formats and how to test your camera file
A recognized extension does not guarantee every camera generation and compression variant renders identically. Camera-specific testing is the standard.

Kalar recognizes common Canon, Sony, Nikon, Adobe, Fujifilm, Olympus, Pentax, and Panasonic RAW extensions.

Reproducible test
Use a non-sensitive photo with highlights, shadows, neutral gray, saturated color, and correct orientation. Confirm dimensions, orientation, white balance, highlights, and JPG export.
Useful bug report
Include camera model, firmware, extension, compression mode, browser, OS, dimensions, symptom, and whether another decoder opens the original.
Limitation
Browser memory and GPU limits vary. Very large or unusual files can fail even when their format is recognized.
