How to build and export a 3D LUT online

A 3D LUT is a sampled color transform. It cannot carry geometry, masks, local retouching, grain, glow, or metadata.

Choose test material

Use a neutral ramp, skin, saturated colors, shadow detail, and highlights—not only one hero image.

Keep it compatible

Use global tone and color operations. Disable spatial effects, crop, overlays, sharpening, masking, and stochastic texture.

Select destination and size

Use the destination's supported sizes. A larger cube samples more densely but is not automatically better than the target application's preferred size.

Round-trip validation

Apply the result at the intended pipeline position and check input/output spaces, clipping, hue continuity, and neutrals across multiple images.
